Live Music Lovers get ready for a whole day of live music in Redcliffe

Our favourite seaside celebration of all things Easter, The Redcliffe Festival of Sails is back in 2017 and better than ever. Music and performance lovers are in for a treat this year, with an amazing line-up of entertainment on show at the Peninsula Private Hospital Main Stage. It all happens on Friday, 14th April (Good Friday) at Suttons Beach, Redcliffe. The Peninsula Private Hospital Main Stage will play host to a variety of incredible local and national talent from Indie Folk to RnB acts, and even an epic sky high Easter Surprise. Here’s What’s On at the Peninsula Private Hospital Main Stage this Redcliffe Festival of Sails.


Josh Lovegrove | 1.00pm

Hailing from Melbourne, Josh Lovegrove will be bringing his soulful and heartfelt live performances to the Peninsula Private Hospital Main Stage. Guitar in hand, Josh delights audiences with his engaging stage presence and captivating lyrics. It’s no wonder he’s gone on to become a recognised name the Brisbane music scene.


Johanna and Jayden | 3.00pm

Johanna and Jayden are one talented live music duo based in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Inspired by the likes of Ed Sheeran, Miss Higgins and Ben Howard, Johanna and Jayden combine chilled, acoustic blues with cheerful, modern music for a truly unique performance.


The Counterfeit Umbrellas | 12.00pm

Soaring harmonies and smooth, bright melodies make this pop-folk act a joy-evoking experience. The Counterfeit Umbrellas are a Brisbane group who have worked with ARIA nominated producer Stuart Stuart, who has worked with big Australian names like Sheppard and The Veronicas. Don’t miss their crisp, clean sound and upbeat originals.

Sky Diving Easter Bunny | 10.00am 

Taking Easter Surprises to new heights, this year the Easter Bunny is making a grand entrance from up above. Don’t forget to look to the sky at 10.00am when the Sky Diving Easter Bunny drops in with plenty of chocolate treats for the kids. Proudly supplied by Skydive Australia.


Fonoti Brothers | 11.00am 

The Fonoti Brothers, Yak and Noah, have music in their blood. The sons of Toni Fonoti, the lead singer songwriter for legendary reggae band “The Herbs” (which was inducted into the NZ Rock n Roll Hall of Fame!), the duo are destined for musical success. The Fonoti Brothers are influenced by Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder, wowing audiences with their amazing vocals and the smooth sounds of their RnB Soul meets modern Pop performances.

Tangerine Sky | 10.00am 

Tangerine Sky transport you to a summer dream with their dreamy folk pop music. Mixing original blues with folk, rock and pop, Tangerine Sky are a four-piece acoustic group based in our own backyard here in Redcliffe.


Lost Safari Band | 2.00pm

What do you get when you combine six of Brisbane’s finest musicians in to one band? The Ultimate Party Band experience! With stellar vocals, twin guitar genius and groove bass and drums, Lost Safari are the ultimate in live music entertainment. Covering Disco hits to Hard Rock anthems, expect a high-energy performance taking on tracks from INXS, ACDC, Adele, Michael Jackson and Daft Punk to name a few.

Cohen Anderson | 9.00am 

Born in New Zealand, Cohen Anderson’s passion for travel and music make for inspired acoustic performances. With a stellar voice and a love for music, Cohen is a seasoned pro and native performer at festivals.
