Hailing from the outskirts of Brisbane, Shanon Watkins is a stocky, tattooed, red-haired, left-handed bloke, not quite the picture that first comes to mind when you think singer-songwriter. But sing and song-write he does with an infectious and enthusiastic approach that sets the mood, along with his soulful, rich and gritty vocals. Shanon’s songs are known to blur the lines between folk, rock, country, reggae and blues. Anything that can be played on an acoustic guitar! He will be bringing his epic explosion of sounds to Sails with his trio members Jeremy Taylor and Lewis Bell!
Tiarne, with her captivating and honest sound that gets underneath the skin and ignites a sentimental, heart palpitating feeling, is a 20 years young Electronic/ Indie/ Pop artist from Brisbane who is releasing her first follow up single ‘Golden’ since her debut in March. She has shined bright as an artist in recent months. Now, ahead of the release of her debut EP (out in October), she will perform on the Main Stage at Redcliffe Festival of Sails!

Dan & Diletta formed in 2014 and quickly discover their very similar taste in music. They formed a fresh, relaxed duo combination covering the ‘not so common’ tracks including the likes of Pink Floyd and Bossa Nova as well as crowd favourites such as Ed Sheeran and Darryl Braithwaite! Diletta with her Italian background and array of musical experiences, and Dan who picked up his guitar at age 14, they are going to set an incredibly chill and festive atmosphere in Sails very first Mini Ice-Cream Festival!

Tim Lollback has been performing as an acoustic musician across a variety of venues and events in Australia for the past 5 years. From performing corporate functions, singing a bride down the isle, to performing to a bar and dance floor of 200+ people, Tim has worked hard to develop a set list to cater for any performance. His repertoire consists of the all-time classics as well as bringing current top 40 tracks to a live acoustic setting. Tim brings along his original music also and earthy tone to create an engaging and moving acoustic performance. As well as performing as an acoustic musician, Tim fronts Brisbane indie band 'Calais' who have performed consistently across Australia and have found radio successes in the US and abroad. Tim has an encapsulating stage presence prides himself on his high quality performance and reliability with every gig.
Alex has performed for the last 3 years all around Queensland and New South Wales. Alex released his first EP on 28th of May 2016 "Keep on Keeping On". He has grown to be quite popular in Queensland with his positive, carefree spirit. Alex’s vibrant music is drawn from his passions of travelling and environmental awareness. Alex now has an album "Time For Change" (available for purchase) and a second single “Counting The Days”. His music has a strong following and we look forward to seeing him play at Redcliffe Festival of Sails 2018!
As it nears the end of the year Alex looks to live the dream of driving in his van, touring all over Australia and to gain wisdom, knowledge and new experiences within the journey. Alex is definitely and up and coming artist to keep an eye on with his powerful vocals, Wailing harmonica and overdriven acoustic guitar.
Anais is a 17-year-old Brisbane based singer/songwriter. Music has been a part of her life for as early as she can remember. From festivals to competitions, she has won her audiences over with her heartfelt lyrics and spirited stage presence. Anais recently received the amazing opportunity to record and perform in Nashville, TN and record an EP of original music; which is currently being played on KIX Country FM. Singing at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Gympie Music Muster, Ballina Country Music Festival and the Ekka, Anais has regular opportunities to showcase her vocal, guitar and piano skills to a variety of listeners. Her authenticity and maturity will move audiences in a way not many performers her age can.
Based in QLD and raised in Toowoomba, Ben Timmings is an acoustic, folk singer/song writer. Playing throughout the Darling Downs and Moreton Bay Region with a number of originals and many covers - both old and new - with inspiration from artists like Cat Stevens and Passenger, Ben is armed with his acoustic guitar, vocals and harmonica - there’s something for everyone.

Cryss Coleman is a songwriter and musical chameleon from South East Queensland, who explores issues of social justice and compassion through his highly emotive and genre-spanning music. Since beginning in 2014, he has shared stages with Velociraptor, Gang of Youths & Until Home, with his music morphing from alt-pop, indie rock to punk through to his current evolution spinning raw, emotive folk tunes. From his days as a bedroom writer, to playing a plethora of local shows with his “rollercoaster” of a live set, Cryss is gearing up to perform at the annual Redcliffe Festival of Sails!
Lucy Korts is a Toowoomba-based, indie-folk musician and singer-songwriter. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Passenger, Gabrielle Aplin and Stu Larsen, Lucy has pleased crowds with her atmospheric, intimate live sets at multiple gigs, festivals and events. Though an original artist at heart, Lucy’s covers repertoire spans across internationally beloved artists from Cyndi Lauper to Bruce Springsteen, steeped in her own distinctive folk-pop style. In 2018, Lucy’s dedication to honing her songwriting craft will see her working up to her debut official release.
Raised on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia, up and coming artist Jackson Villani has been singing and playing guitar from the age of 16. His determination to learn led to his interest in songwriting at age 18, with laid back pop, jazz and blues influences. Inspired by the works of famous musicians like John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Hozier, and Jamie Cullum, Jackson has been gigging since early 2015 and is currently in the process of recording his first single! Jackson looks forward to shining bright at venues, festivals and tours around Australia and eventually internationally.

This young musician's style has an alternative edge that stretches from folk to indie, pop and country pop. After teaching herself guitar at the age of 14, Taleena hasn't looked back. Playing at multiple festivals and venues around Australia, this young musician's fascination with music makes sure for captivating performances every time.
Guy has been performing around South-East Queensland in a myriad of venues as a musician for the past four years. Guy prides himself on his hard-earned ability to arrange and perform songs that people wouldn’t expect to hear from an acoustic musician. Whilst being a big advocate for the slower, more soulful tunes, he isn’t afraid to kick it up a notch with some up-tempo numbers. This works in Guy’s advantage, as he is quickly and accurately able to gauge what the audience is chasing. As a capable soloist, duo or trio, Guy is set to delight the stage at Redcliffe Festival of Sails.
